landslide!

I once dated a woman who truly tested my patience. she was consistently late to everything. and sometimes hours late. good thing she was good looking. but I learned to wait and I learned that waiting wasn't a bad thing. everyone has their own clock. that relationship didn't last but if it taught me that one thing it was worth.

this came to mind this morning when I was listening to the radio and someone said if the electoral college finishes the way it's headed it will be a landslide. all the stomach-churning and sleepless nights will be wasted because the beat down will be real. we're talking over 300 to just over 200 and almost 5 million votes. I lost patience and didn't see that coming. on Tuesday. I shoulda knowd.

the big win may be on its way but that doesn't mean I have no right to feel the gut-punch of the truly evil people that did win. the GOP could still win the Senate and how fucked up is that. all those assholes have no right to 6 more years. I hope they pass before that time is up. it's only right.
